We are delighted to announce that Digital Visitor has been appointed by The National Marine Aquarium to develop and deliver their digital marketing strategy and media buying.
Run by the Ocean Conservation Trust, a charity dedicated to connecting people with the Ocean, The National Marine Aquarium (NMA) is the UK’s largest aquarium and is located in Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth.
Like most attractions, the NMA has been closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and will be reopening 6th July with all safety measures in place and at a much-reduced capacity.
It’s been a challenging time for everyone, we are delighted to be opening again and welcoming back visitors to the aquarium. We are going to be operating at a reduced capacity for some time to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors. Which makes it even more important to fill all available visitor slots throughout the day. Having worked with Digital Visitor previously they have demonstrated to us that they understand the industry, how to get the right message to the right people and drive visitors during off-peak times.
Olly Reed Marketing and Communications Manager, Ocean Conservation Trust
Home to over 4,000 animals and groundbreaking ocean conservation work, the aquarium offers much to excite visitors and inspires them to connect with marine wildlife.
Anthony Rawlins, CEO of Digital Visitor explains “Digital Visitor’s mission is to inspire people to do things worth doing, so working with the NMA is a perfect fit for us. The NMA is a fantastic experience that enables visitors to engage with the world’s oceans and we look forward to helping them gain more visitors during this time”
The NMA joins other iconic attractions in the Digital Visitor roster, including Royal Museums Greenwich, Science Museum Group, Museum of London, The Silverstone Experience and many more.
